This French Paddle Board can be made from any variety of woods I have on hand. Shown here in Walnut, Cherry & Ambrosia Maple. Measures 16" round and is 21" tall including the handle & features cross grain inlays.

End Grain Cutting Boards
End grain cutting board construction is more labor intensive than face grain or edge grain cutting boards. Essentially an edge grain boards is first made then cut up a second time and flipped so that the end grain wood fibers are oriented vertically. End grain wood fibers are more forgiving and are a “softer” surface for knife blades which means your knives will stay sharper longer. Made from Tennessee hard maple, cherry & or walnut.

Face Grain
Cutting Boards
"Face Grain" cutting boards will become a daily user in your kitchen. Generally these are between ¾"– 1" thick and feature routed handles on the bottoms of each side for ease of picking up.

This style of handled cheese board is one of my most popular. It measures 17" x 11.25" (including the handle). Great to use as wall décor or for using when serving and entertaining guests. Small Prep Boards are practical, doesn’t take up a lot of space and store easily. It measure 10" x 6" and is the perfect size to cut an apple or to make a salad, we use ours often.

Live Edge Trays
When making my serving trays I search for pieces that have characteristic like bug holes, small knots, live edges and a mix of heart wood and sap wood with lots of patina that makes each tray colorful, rustic and unique. Measures approximately 28"x 12".
